We hired Homeowner Services to remodel two bathrooms for us. This included new flooring, fixtures, plumbing updates, paint, and all the little details. Home Services of Michigan (HSM) replaced 4 windows in our home and installed a @VELUXAmerica sun tunnel in the ceiling of a hallway. The company, and George the lead installer, were pleasant to work with. They wanted to make us happy. Our new windows seem very weather-tight, and we just love the sun tube. It lets in so much light, even though it goes through the roof on the north side.
I would have given a zero if possible. My experience is extremely poor service. I had a bathroom shower replaced. Took 3 weeks because the installer didn't show up 4 days that he said he would. One year later I had mold on the inside of my shower behind the caulk. Investigation was performed and it was determined that the shower wall was wet when the caulk was applied. Think Twice Before Hiring Homeowner Services of Michigan (HSM) Our experience with HSM was a complete nightmare. We hired them for a home addition and renovation, and issues started early. The crew removed our original solid wood kitchen cabinets without authorization and offered inadequate compensation for replacements (basically unfinished MDF cabinets from Menards). HSM did a major renovation of our master bathroom this past fall. They did a beautiful job and I would use them again for any future home improvement projects. Everyone working for HSM was very professional and the total renovation was completed on schedule. I absolutely LOVE my new bathroom and would certainly recommend HSM!
