I am a first-time homebuyer so I sincerely appreciated when I contacted HomeMD and they told me I actually did not need most of the services I thought I did. They were very clear with their recommendations and explained everything in details. With me being out of state I wanted everything to be reported electronically, and it was. The report was clear, although lengthy (I guess every report is). The inspector pointed out even the smallest defect, which I appreciated.

What matters is the content and what specifically is said. The lengthiness has a lot to do with number of photos. I could make a 30 pg report without any photos or I can make a 60 pg report with a photo for everything we look at. I had a home inspection worked by HomeMD Inspection Services and they did a great job. The explanation about issues were clear and very understandable. Because of the inspection, I was able to have a few things corrected before buying my house. I would call them again if needed.
We had a wonderful experience with HomeMD. The inspector was thorough and did a great job of explaining his findings both in the detailed report he produced and in person. The repair list we submitted to the seller was not contested and I believe it was due to the facts included in the report which were confirmed by the appropriate service professionals.
