I don’t mind the hotel. It was the customer service. The people at the breakfast buffet made snide and backhanded comments towards my wife for the way she looked. I really don’t think they’re kind to people of color. Unfortunately, because of this, I would never want to book another room with them again.
We really enjoyed our stay at this location. Everyone who works here is super friendly and helpful! Shout out to Frankie and Christine at the front desk, both were so amazing. 🤩 The breakfast is plentiful and hot, they have a heated pool and the beds are very comfy. The air conditioner in the room was on point. It was just me and my husband this time, but I think we’ll bring our kids back here to swim!
We're Gold members and we travel all over the country for a variety of reasons. We've become accustomed to Hilton quality and safety, as sometimes I'm traveling alone. This was not a great experience, and we ended up checking out early and receiving a refund. The night clerk saw us walk in, and then promptly put up an "away" sign and was on the phone looking for something, so we had to stand and wait. He checked us in and we went up to our room.
