Run away fast. I was out of town and was trusting the inspector to work on my side. The inspection did not cover half of the house issues. The inspector did not find the mold in the closets. It was one of the first things I saw. Several light switches had tape on them. The reason I now know is that the fixtures were shorted out. This did not show on the inspection. Your Inspector was wonderful! I was hesitant about spending the money for an inspection on a new construction home but I am so happy I did because the problems he found, we never would have known about. I feel very safe in our new home thanks to Home Inspection Carolina
I have used Home Inspection Carolina twice. Preston did my first inspection and one his guys did the second one. Both times they were thorough, professional and answered any and all questions that I had. I would recommend them to anyone in need of their services.
Our Inspector did an excellent job informing us of the major problems right away and was ;thorough. The photos from the report and thermal infrared pictures;and the inspectors explanation made our decision much easier;We will request Home Inspection Carolina when we located another house for inspection.
