Bakery Is Wonderful! Folks this is the very best Bakery in Michigan, No Kidding. Their bakery items are full of flavor, moist, nicely sized, and just delicious. One can order just about anything, because speciality is their expertise, and they are glad to help you design whatever. Poor Customer Service Bad Customer Service. The staff was so rude there. The cakes do look beautiful and taste great but it is hard to order a cake there when you have been treated poorly.
NOT THE SAME OLD PLACE The old owners were so very nice, and they had a fantastic tasing home-made cake. They use to donate their week-end left over baked goods to the soup kitchen. The new cakes have an animal fat lard taste to them, in my opinion. The frosting from what I hear is not made with real butter, and when we purchased the cake recently, the center frosting was thin, so why the high price? Home Bakery is THE BEST!! Home Bakery did my baby shower cake and it was both beautiful AND delicious!! Their buttercream is amazing and the cake is so moist it melts in your mouth. They went above and beyond to make me an edible baby pig to top the cake and it came out better than I could have imagined. The cake was the talk of the baby shower. I highly recommend Home Bakery for your next special event!

Home Bakery Locally, this bakery is well known for it speciality cakes. I had to have a cake made for my daughters graduation party. She wanted her picture on, school colors, and certain frosting and style. Home Bakery was able to pull it off and the cake was great. Sometimes we just are wandering through the stores nearby and stop in for a snack. They have great cokies, brownies and alot of other pasteries. I think the prices are average, but well worth the cost. Great place.
Home Bakery is a real treat! My entire family looks forward to Home Bakery cakes when we splurge and buy one for a celebration. We love the traditional flavors and the great designs. It's also fun to come in and have a coffee and cookie on a weekend morning.
Poor Customer Service I should start by saying that I have been buying cakes at The Home Bakery for years, but this will be my last. The cake is usually above average, but the customer service is the worst! I would have given ZERO stars but that was not an option. I ordered a cake three months in advance of a birthday party.
