HOME BAKERY IS THE BEST!!! I get all my birthday cakes from Home Bakery for years. The buttercream is to die for. The staff are very helpful with ideas. You have many flavors to choose from. I love walking by the window.
Unsatisfied Customer I went to the Home Bakery several days ago to try some of their pastries. I had read some of the reviews and even though I heard that they were less than satisfactory from friends who have gone there before I figured I would give it a try. I found that the chocolate chip cookies were hard and tasted like they were several days old and stale and the jelly filling in the danish tasted like it came out of a bag. Best Cake My wedding cake was from Home Bakery, and it was more beautiful then I could have imagined. It was the best tasting cake i've ever had as well. I got so compliments on the how good the cake was, and even people agreeing and saying it was the best wedding cake they'd ever had.. The staff was very helpful with design ideas and very patient with me not knowing what i wanted. I also love their cranberry muffins.

Awful Service @ Home Bakery Cakes Awful customer service, forgot to deliver part of the order (which was party favors for children at the party), waited for a call for week after they said they would call, upon me calling them back - just got ruthless service. Manager Stephanie wouldn't get on the phone - had to call twice for my refund for cupcakes. Great Birthday Cakes I normally hate sheet cakes. they are usually stall with a foot of frosting. But one time I went to my friend's birthday where she got a cake from the home bakery. IT WAS THE BEST THING I HAVE EVER TASTED! P.S. If you are like me and want to know what kind of cake it was. It was a vanilla cake with cram on top and fresh fruit! :)
Will make custom cakes We ordered a custom cake for a party last year. It was a moderately complicated cake as we wanted two flavors and a specific decoration. The Home Bakery did a great job as the cake was completed and delivered on time. It tasted fresh, and was decorated exactly as requested. Their prices are not the cheapest around, but they are very reasonable and well worth every penny.
Greedy and rude I had ordered a cake for my husbands birthday (a month in advance). My husband was going to be out of town when his party was supposed to be so I called to cancel the cake. I had placed a 25.00 deposit that I assumed would be refunded since there was NO CAKE made, I gave plenty of notice and no, they wouldn't return my deposit.
