Not sure why this customer did not give us a 5 star rating. System was installed for a 3 rd floor condo. before installation customer was complaining that the existing system was not cooling. Reason poor duct design, no high return after new installation on a 100 degree day the condo can maintain 70 degrees. It was a excellent installation from start to finish, no reason for the 4.1 star. Go figure.
We based our decision upon knowledge and recommendation of system sizing and application of system specification to our home's layout and square footage. They provided us with the best overall solution and we knew their price was competative.
Working with Home Air Control (Glen & Team) right before the Memorial Holiday weekend to install a new A/C unit and coil was as smooth process. Glen made some calls to acquire the necessary materials on short notice and he and Home Air Control came through for my family and I. Thanks guys.
By far among the best contractor I have ever hired. Home Air Control is very conscious of not only doing an outstanding professional job but also in keeping cost down. HAC in no way pushed me into upgrading but once HAC knew that I was divided on the idea they counseled me on the pros/cons of upgrading to a better unit. I was so lucky to find these guys. My heat pump went up 2 days before the Memorial holiday weekend in 90 degree temperatures with out of state company on the way. They provided a prompt evaluation of the problem including an honest and very competitve estimate. They worked me in to their busy schedule and saved my holiday weekend by coming the next day to install a new heat pump and air handler. Glenn and his son were outstanding. Initial estimate was professional and to the point. Not a "sales job". Glenn walked me through on the phone exactly what equipment he was quoting me and what the capabilities were. Price was very competitive. They installed a brand new A/C and furnace and hopefully I will not have to use them for a service call but if I do, I'm confident that they have the customers best interest in mind. Glen was up front and honest. He is not the cheapest option you will find but he does solid work and is reliable. I believe his warrently and the quality systems he installs is worth the added cost. He quickly responded to my request for an written estimate. When I elected to go with him, he did the work in a timely fashion.
