I had to 42 year old upper front crowns replaced as well as the next teeth on either side of them, and I was terrified! As a teenager I was tramatized once by an incompetent dentist and had a great deal of pain for years before I had those front teeth fixed. Dr. Schleicher has been my dentist since I was a teenager and I've had no reason to go anywhere else. I've had several crowns and root canal procedures that were virtually pain-free. The staff is the most caring group of people I have ever met. Dr. Schleicher's group of dentists has changed over the years, but their philosophy about patient care and comfort remains the same. OMG !!!  if you are anxious or have any fear of going to the dentist, this is the place to be! My childhood dentist hurt me and would keep on drilling on my tooth anyway so I had all of these bad memories and avoided going to the dentist even though I knew I had a lot of cavities. When I first met Dr. Read he spent a lot of time with me talking about my past experiences to get to why I was so fearful. When I got to the office, I was in horrific pain with an abcess. The staff immediately took care of my pain and diagnosed a necessary root canal. They started immediately, and within an hour, I was fixed up and on my way. Dr. Schleicher is a "Magic Man". His staff really cares about your comfort and well-being. Tell your friends!

Dr. Schleicher did a mouth piece for me to treat TMJ, and my symptoms have nearly disappeared since I first was treated about 9 months ago. I would recommend Dr. Schleicher for the treatment of TMJ to anyone who is suffering from headaches and back of the neck pain from this. My result was dramatic improvement of symptoms.

Last year I moved to Houston from canada. I went to a dentist in clear lake that I received ZOOM teeth whitening. This was a horrible experience because this dentist seemed very unprofessional and once the treatment was over, gave me the wrong home treatment cream. She gave me the cream used for "in chair" for the office treatment, rather than the lower dosage for home use. This resulted in all my gums being almost completley burned off. Total office personnel including doctors and staff are excelent, professional, informative and careing. My wife after a terrible experience with another dentist, not in this office, refused to go to another dentist until she had to go to see Dr. Schleicher. She no longer worries about going to see the dentist. After procedures they call and follow us to insure no post problems. I am 23, live on my own and have no insurance. I had a top rear molar that was rotting and was half hollow that I wanted to get extracted but didn't have the money. After calling about 6 different dentists looking for help my mother told me about Schleicher-Read and said they had great reviews so I called in.
