Fantastic location. Very close to the LA subway which takes you to, or close to many cool places. Maids cleaned my room every day. Quite clean place in general. Sounds like they have really worked on HH since some of these reviews were written. My room was quiet, I may have lucked out on that. Great breakfast included too. They could add a few more items or more waffle irons is one suggestion for the breakfast room. I could see that the Hotel is being refurbished even more and it will be even better then. Very good – Service was very good, staff was friendly and helpful, everything was clean and well maintained, the secluded pool area was very nice. We really wish they had had a jacuzzi though. As for location, it's not 'off the beaten path' but we like that. I would definitely recommend this the Hollywood Hotel.
Clean and spacious – The rooms were clean and spacious and the breakfast was tasty with a friendly staff

Once I had booked the hotel, I rang the hotel leading up to my stay. I was unfamiliar with the location and wanted to get the best directions from LAX. I spoke to a really helpful guy who was working the front desk. His name was Michael. I was calling from Sydney, Australia and he assisted me with all my enquiries. He was even nice enough to tell me what the weather was like in LA. He definitely made me fell good about booking my stay! Great service and really friendly stuff!!!!
Enjoyed my stay – took a chance on this hotel for a 3 nite stay. it was a great price and i was so impressed with what you get! i had a nice room on the 3rd floor. queen size bed that was SO COMFORTABLE. probably the most comfortable bed i've slept on in a hotel. it was so high off the ground, i had to kinda jump on but...that's what you want. white bedding, wonderfully comfortable comforter. it was great. there was a fridge and microwave in the room, big flat screen LG tv. and free wifi. that's all i wanted. the furniture i... read more
Wonderful Hotel – I booked this hotel via Expedia before travelling over to Vegas & New York. I loved it so much I tried to extend my stay but they had new guests booked into my room the day I left. Wifi was free (but slow, about 1mb at best) so after leaving Eastenders on download overnight it was only at 67% even when plugging it in directly and not using the wifi, however it was perfectly acceptable for general web browing.
