John was thorough and excellent and saved us from making a big mistake. We’d fallen in love with a beautiful old (200+) home but the report revealed several hundred of thousands in needed repairs that would need to be made before we could even move in. The report was meticulous, clear and descriptive with lots of photos. It revealed a failing roofs that weren’t built correctly, chimney failures, window issues, electrical problems and mold issues. John at Hollis Home Inspection was really incredible - his report was thorough and clear. Photos accompanied every note, and issues were color-coded by severity. John also texted with me late one evening when we were having trouble figuring out how to navigate the radon test in our basement. Really such great customer service and such a great report.
