Horrible place to stay. Avoid this place if at all possible.
The hotel itself is pretty nice with a friendly staff and nicely appointed rooms. It offers the traditional full service Holiday Inn experience. It's also conveniently located to Metro Rail for transportation throughout the LA area. The only downside is the neighborhood which isn't the greatest.
Tried several times to get in touch with the groups department, only to be told (after multiple calls, leaving unanswered messages, and even trying to get help from corporate) that the person was out of the office. After posting on this page, the General Manager got in touch with the group leader. Our group has decided to take our business elsewhere after the point of contact for groups would not honor the price we were given by the General Manager. Staff was great. Room comfortable and clean. Price was perfect. Food was good but not cooked to order correctly (medium not well done) and a little expensive (36 bucks for 2 burgers). View from room was of someone's cluttered backyard and could hear dogs barking at night. But with all this week would stay again.
