Amazingly it's actually right on the lake only feet away ! Coming from Milwaukee where they have wonderful resturants and food choices, Finding Hob Nob after being in somers for a few months, Is a wonderful gift to us It felt like we were in a snow globe with really good food and drinks, I can't wait to be there to watch the moon come up over the lake while having an amazing dinner and drinks! We had a celebration for Eddie Reagan, who passed away on 11/11/17 on Friday, . He was almost 89 and most of his friends and his wife had proceeded him in death. Nine of us showed up for the celebration at the Hobnob, including friends, relatives and Father Bruno who presided over the mass. We had a private dining room which was very cozy and helped with the conversation about Eddie. Everything spot on. Pricing was high, but well worth it. Everyone at our table was happy with the food. I had the prime rib, perfect and so were the brandy old fashions. A perfect example of a Wisconsin supper club with a nice retro atmosphere.
First time back to the HobNob in over 30 years. I love the fact that not much has changed. One of the best original supper clubs in Wisconsin . The view from the bar is outstanding. We had a booth in the main dining room with a view of the lake - beautiful. Our server was terrific, the food outstanding and the dessert delicious. Highly recommend for those that want to step back in time and enjoy a real dining experience.
Very good food, unfortunately the dinner rolls are very ordinary, but everything else was delicious. Food is served hot from kitchen. Great view of Lake Michigan, in a setting with much bling and Egyptian motif. Take your sweetie there, she'll love it. And get a gigantic ice cream drink for dessert to share! �
Had a gift card from our son & daughter in law.. the food was wonderful. Got a grasshopper for dessert, which was huge. But it was very good. Waitress was very nice. We had a very nice time.
Although this review is a couple months late, I'd like to say what an AMAZING venue this was for our July 29 wedding and reception! Kara and the entire staff helped make our day perfect. From helping us plan the meal to setting up and serving with a smile, the entire crew at HobNob was excellent. Many thanks to everyone! I hope you all get a chance to visit and enjoy!
Well, I read the reviews from a few sites while we waited a half hour past our reservation. Should have left then. Hunger does strange things to ones judgement. Decor is soo outdated and mismatched(possibly dirty too but dim lights so couldn't confirm) agreed and then some. Menu is outdated and unimaginative and over priced-yup.
