Loved it! Had an amazing sandwich and delicious sweet potato fries. Excellent craft beer also. Helpful staff. Fun place to be. Will definitely be returning here when I am in Houston.

We went to the Hobbit Café to celebrate Bilbo and Frodo's birthday. We went for the theme but we came back for the FOOD! I love this place. I am so glad it is local. We went for the brunch. I love that we could get breakfast or lunch food. The smoothies are the best I have ever had and we even got to try the King's Mead from TRF without having to carry a tankard around. Great food, great atmosphere, great service (thanks, Cindy) and an amazing theme. It has several "Hobbit Holes" of rooms so we will have to try out each one!... read more
I had an unexpected experience yesterday at the Hobbit Cafe that I would like to share with everyone. I recently moved from the area to Pearland and had a craving for their Chicken Salad. As I enter the establishment I notice outside (in the heat) workers cleaning the patio, inside they apologized for the mess, but they were cleaning. Now I have seen restaurants "cleaning" previously, but they were dusting, polishing and rearranging their beautiful decor as if it was their own homes. It was a very refreshing experience. Was lucky enough to visit and get a lot of information from the family that owns it. The food is really good, better if you love avocados. (They have a real love of craft beer and have a few locals that visit often like a high school teacher who heads there after work to grade papers).
