Well, last time I was there in 1973 it was really good and very veggie! This time it was just another cafe with a bunch of Hobbit relics etc...the burger was good but thats about it.....

this is the second time I've been to the hobbit cafe and its still awesome. the first time i went with my wife and kids and my parents (who are hard to satisfy)and they liked it very much ..i came yesterday with just my girls ..it was their suggestion a good one i might add...the service was excellent...the food was delicious...i feel bad i don't remember our server name but she was very helpful and friendly...we will definitely be back ...

We are not from the Houston area and had been wanting to go here for years, and finally got a chance to go, and we didnt make it in the door. The owner was very rude, and we left on the spot. Just for the sake of not causing a scene, we left. Probably won't go back.
Got an avocado burger. Terrible. It was raw in the middle. Avocado was brown. Waitress was rude!

We had an excellent time! The menu looks great, there's a lot of items I still want to try, they have a great beer menu, and the atmosphere is so comfortable and pleasant!
