I am almost two weeks past a total right hip replacement with HOI. I interviewed a couple of Orthopedic groups and got recommendations from several friends. I'm so pleased with my decision to have this procedure done by Jay Patel MD and his staff at Hoag. Their protocol, which started weeks before surgery and continues to this moment, has been stellar. This is my 2nd hip replacement in a year and a half. I would not go anywhere else. The staff is amazing. They treat you like family, and truly care about your well being.
Excellent. Compared to another local hospital (15 miles north of San Clemente, but nameless) Hoag was outstanding. Excellent nurses and staff.
This is knee number 2. Three years ago I had Left total knee, care and recovery was great. In October 2024 I had R total knee. The care from admission to discharge was superb. Great pre op and post op nursing, kind knowledgeable physical therapy. Every individual I spoke with was friendly and helpful. Thanks Dr Abraham Kim for another great surgical experience.
