Terrible Hospital. In with a possible stroke... yet told us 'no' to a neurological dr consult..3 days later, finally bring one in and he tells patient he can't give consult until she schedules an in office visit (!) 2nd neurologist shows up the next day and actually gave a consult and said 1st doctor was more concerned with $. Bed not changed in 3 days. Violation of privacy due to CAMERA in room for roommate, with 0 notification? Horrible feeling when staff tell you to go to a different hospital.. RecommendedBeen through the ER and have had family member admitted for several days at SOMC. Always a good experience. Nurses and support staff helpful and courteous. Rooms are clean and tidy. Only had an issue with one ER doctor that I will review elsewhere.
