I give these guys 5 stars. emmettkch doesn't understand contractors at all, but just selfishly wants what he/she wants. If your contractor mismeasures or orders the wrong size, you can't blame the manufacturer. The manufacturer was right. You are the contractor's customer and the contractor is obligated to you. The contractor is the manufacturer's customer. Why should the manufacturer pay for the contractor's mistake?

I use "H-H" any time the needs of my contract work will permit. They provide a good quality product at a reasonable price. I have always received great, friendly service. I think they have been in business close to 70 years, so they clearly know how to do things right. They have always been wiling to work with me to accomodate my needs.

On May 8th, We ordered through a contractor, from HINKEL-HOFMANN(HH), 34 GRAEF windows with upper sash grids and a Planter window. On May 26, all the windows arrived with the wrong grids in the upper sashes. The windows were also sized to the opening and not sized down to fit within the opening. Variation in the manufacture of the window resulted in most being bigger in width or height or both by as much as 3/16 of an inch. Meaning that most of the windows were bigger than the opening.
