First of all, for those culturally sensitive, this is a Pakistani restaurant so the dishes are very similar to Northern Indian cuisine. This means there are lots of goat and lamb choices, biryanis (rice), and kebabs. Try the Gola Kebabs (the most amazingly tender grilled beef) with garlic naan hot out of the oven, washed down with mango lassi, and finish with the Rabri Walli Kheer-an almond rice pudding. Wickedly spicy, intensely seasoned dishes that leaves you crying for more. I recommend the Hari Masala Chicken and the Resha Gosht. I am never disappointed. The owner was so pleasant and nice to my sister who was visiting from Mission Viejo. He gave her a parting gift of their desserts.
The service is terrible but the food is simply the best Pakistani/North Indian food in Houston.
