The Himalaya Restaurant the food really is exceptional and the prices reasonable. First of all, for those culturally sensitive, this is a Pakistani restaurant so the dishes are very similar to Northern Indian cuisine. This means there are lots of goat and lamb choices, biryanis (rice), and kebabs. Great tasting food. Tandoori chicken. Al a gobi. Garlic naan and plain naan are delicious. BYOB. Next time I will try goat or lamb. Food was a really good spicy. White rice was extra good. We will be back.
LOVE Himalaya!!! Whether with a large group of friends and family or a small gathering, THIS is the place to have an amazing meal and ALWAYS take home enough for lunch the next day!!! Arrive early....with so much press, Himalaya is POPULAR, and rightly so!
Absolutely worth the hype. Come willing to try new things, have the best version of old favorites (the butter chicken, oh my!), and make new friends. Delightful!

My wife and I love Indian food but we always come away thinking that all the food has the same taste. Not here we have steak, green chicken, chickpeas and potatoes, and goat with dal. We also had garlic naan. The food was amazing and each dish had our mouth watering at how good it was. The naan was made to order. The owner and chef was out front talking to customers and taking orders. My advice is to come hungry and come early. I love this place....owner is always there to greet you and more than likely will give you something to eat for free as a token of appreciation. Keep up the fine work...and love the old school lunch trays.
my go to indo pak restaurant. worth the drive. we love the nans, biryani, palak paneer, lamb shank, chicken tikka and mango lasi. everything is so good. always crowded though so we usually get it for to go. tasty tasty tasty!! oh and get the fried chicken!!!
The food is good- no doubt about that. They need to however, work on customer service which sucks big time. They need to either let go of the waiter or at least train them well in recommending or suggesting the first timers in ordering food.
