Great hotel...very updated..super clean. Right in the heart of downtown...walk to baseball stadium across the street..restaurants all nearby in walking distance..very quiet..very comfortable bed! Front desk ..lady in am Sunday and gentlemen in the pm over the top with friendliness and customer service!
The staff has been friendly. The outside of the building is colorful and cute. The inside, however is severely showing its age. The lazy river pool is pretty cool and there is good beach access. The room just felt dirty. Heavily worn carpets. Mold/mildew in the corners of the bathtub. Furniture hanging on for dear life.
Overall, my stay at the Hilton Garden Inn was okay, but there were a few disappointments that are worth noting. The online photos and descriptions were misleading, particularly regarding the pool area. The hotel has remodeled, and there is no longer a hot tub—even though multiple websites still show and list one. When I brought this up to the staff, they acknowledged that guests frequently mention it, but said, “Yeah, we’re told that all the time.
