Stay clear of this property, the 6 th floor room had sand in the carpet and the pool is under construction with noisy levels that is not conducive to full price hotel. Bad need of updates. New paint and new carpet would do wonderers for this hotel. Go else where!!
The staff was amazing - friendly and attentive. There is a big difference in the photos online vs what the state of this hotel is in when you see it in person. The lobby is fine (great, actually) but as soon you get off the elevator and step into the hallway towards your room, it's a mess. Hallway carpets are pretty gross (carpet powder residue and stains everywhere.) Rooms are in dire need of renovations (ripped curtains, smells, carpets are rough.) We were staying with a large group and we were all supposed to be on the same floor. Most of the rooms weren’t ready (because the new bedding wasn’t ready yet). They had to split all the rooms up on different floors. That was the appeal of staying there together. I had to go to the front desk to get shower gel and every day to get towels. I was even sent up to the laundry room to get them myself because there was no one to go up and get them for me. They also had us throw the dirty towels in the hallway. My husband and I always stay at the Hilton Garden Inn whenever we travel. The hotel is nice, in a great location and some parts of it are under construction. The hotel is right on the beach, which is great! We experienced some problems with our room, but after a call to the front desk, things were made right. The workout area is small, and one of the treadmills wasn't working. Great breakfast and great service.
