Beautiful hotel with incredible history (first hotel with electricity and telephones, first hotel in Chicago with elevators). Lobby bar is pricey but a cocktail there is a must.
They have a complimentary happy hour from 5:30 to 7:30 with free drinks. Pretty cool perk. Rooms are large and comfortable.

New hotel. Convenient to hwy 26. Very friendly staff. Free breakfast. Pool table in lobby.
I loved the dark quiet rooms. Slept great all week.
