We booked 2 rooms and we were placed 5 floors apart. I had 419 with my wife a day my daughter was on 908. My daughter had a good room but I could not sleep because of the vibration from the a/c. You can drown out noise with ear plugs but vibration travels throughout the room. I was unable to switch off the unit but only turn it down to low. 419 was old and outdated, the power outlet was a power board coming out from a hole in the wall, no usb outlets at all. This was an extremely disappointing hotel stay. We stayed at many different hotels and sometimes we travel within Australia as well, but I have never had such a bad experience. I honestly didn’t expect a Hilton to give me such a terrible week. The hotel is very old and poorly maintained. The shower walls and bathtub had hair left behind by previous guests, and the bathroom ventilation was covered in thick dust. This was an incredibly disappointing stay!! The room was very outdated and poorly maintained, and the level of cleanliness was unacceptable. Soundproofing was also extremely poor, we constantly hear doors opening and closing from other rooms, as well as noise from the corridor. We didn’t sleep well at all during our stay.
