RecommendedThis is definitely my new favorite restaurant! GREAT service, GREAT good, GREAT value. Make reservations. They are usually packed but the ambiance is AMAZING and each table gets EXCELLENT service. Demi, was kind, funny, and professional. I can't wait to go back and try more of their menu! Thanks HBC!!
I had been there on previous trips to Hilo and enjoyed the vibe. On this trip, I took my spouse and daughter to HBC for dinner. We made online reservations and immediately recieved a confirmation email. When we arrived for dinner, the host informed us that there was no reservation on record. I showed him my confirmation email and within 10 mins, and to the confusion of other waiting patrons, he seated us. Our meals were so delicious and service very good. We give it thumbs up!

A very nice experience. The service was fast and accurate. I didn't pay too much attention to the menu and I just ordered the daily special that was a burger with a mushroom sauce that I had cooked medium rare with their house slaw. It was absolutely delicious. A little messy for my liking but oh so worth it. The person I went with had the fresh catch and if I remember correctly it was marlin and she said it was amazing too. Both of us loved our food so much we were not willing to share with one another.
Great food. Great location. Friendly people. We ate lunch or last day in Hilo, and it was a fabulous way to wrap up or trip. The patio can't be beat.
Our waitress was the BEST EVER!!! On it on it on it!!! She was VERY attentive (considering how much beer I ordered). Food is attractive and tasty. No nasty comments from me. From reservations to pay out. Cannot wait to go back
