Admittedly, it has been my boyfriend shopping there so far, not me, but I can tell you their knowledge and service were both excellent! The workers were very patient, explaining the different factors between the different bikes and helping us make decisions that were both beneficial and financially sound. I just dragged my bike out from the garage, an old purchase from the Cranford Bike Shop when that existed, and I plan to bring it over to Hilltop Bikes for a tune up after witnessing their great attitudes!
I've never given anyone 5-Stars. However, The Team at Hilltop has earned every one. Excellent customer service, selection of products, technical experience (especially with high performance cycling equipment). They have earned my steady cycling business.

On a three-day bike trip between Manhattan and Hackettstown, NJ, while riding through Madison, I was having trouble with my chain so I stopped at Hilltop Bicycles. Chris Yeager quickly determined that my chain needed to be replaced and my front derailleur needed to be slightly repositioned. He installed a new chain, repositioned the front derailleur, and adjusted both derailleurs, sending me on my way. The prices for both parts and labor were quite reasonable. I highly recommend Hilltop Bicycles for their excellent service.
Thank you Hilltop for getting my bike ready for another GFNY Fondo. The bike performed flawlessly!
