I had a fantastic experience talking to Sean about road bikes in the Cranford location. He spent a great deal of time discussing what I was looking for and finding out what my true needs were. I didn't end up buying a road bike there today but that was only cause they didn't have it in stock once they get it in I'll go back to buy it. Employees at Hilltop Bicycles - Cranford location are so helpful and patient. When it comes to biking, I am somewhat clueless since I've only been riding about a year. I've gone to the shop for advice on numerous occasions and they always guide me in the right direction. The sales staff is knowledgable but NOT pushy - they never try to talk me into purchasing anything. When I am ready to take a step up and buy a "Good" bicycle, I will be sure to visit them first.
Getting back into mountain biking after many years away. Boy has tech changed since my last purchase in 1998! I had a lot of questions. They spent a lot of time with me on several trips in (both locations) before I finally pulled the trigger. Definitely recommend. Would type more but it's a beautiful day and I have pedals I need to spin.
