I lived at hill house with my partner for a year and a half. The apartment building was quiet and clean, and the maintenance staff was very responsive to our concerns throughout our time there. Many of the occupants have lived in the building for many years, but there are still some younger people as well. Great neighborhood with lots of restaurants and easy public transit. We moved out because we wanted a bigger apartment, but otherwise would have stayed longer.

Agree with Karen & Holly. Katie and I have enjoyed living here for the past 16 years thanks to the truly great service provided by Haley & Anthony.

I have been renting apartments for almost thirty years now and have lived in multiple buildings across the United States. Hill House is hands-down the best experience I've ever had as a renter. Haley Brown, the community manager, works tirelessly to make the entire building and atmosphere and every residence a warm, welcoming, and peaceful place that truly feels like home. When I decided to relocate to DC, I looked at 7 or 8 apartment complexes in various parts of town and new almost right away this was the place. The studios in the newer buildings were so very small. Like one foot of closet space, no storage and less than half the size of the unit here for more money when you add all the extras up. The common areas of lovely but that’s mostly what you are paying for. There are lots of hidden costs too.
