I don't usually do this, but my husband and I were very disappointed today when we went to eat here today. We were told to seat ourselves and then basically ignored for 15 minutes until 2 waitresses then asked if we had been helped...we then got drinks shortly after by a different server and menus and then ignored for another 15 minutes or so. The cafe was not busy and 2 of the 3 waitresses that had helped us had sat down...not sure if it was their break time or what , but we put down money to cover our drinks and left. Firs... read more
Hill City was our home away from home this week as we took in as much of this beautiful part of the country as we could in five days. (Home is Arkansas.) We enjoyed breakfast every morning at Hill City Cafe, and our grandsons loved the place so much, they made sure to hug their favorite waitress on our last day in town. Good food, great service, friendly people. Seriously, you helped make our time here very special.

Food was excellent best darn pasta salad ever and everyone was friendly!
I ordered the cheese something burger it was nice also came with some hot chips on the side they to where nice in crunchy
