Recommendedbest food I had this whole trip
The epitome of the little town diner with local community shoot the breeze stuff going on constantly.
Waited over an hour for our food
Staff was very friendly and helpful. Food was tasty and the portions were just right
Not really sure what to say about this place. We had their breakfast buffet, which was good, but would’ve probably ordered off the menu if the waitress hadn’t gruffly said they were shorthanded & it would take a long while. She yelled across the place when someone walked in & was, generally, not welcoming to all. I met the (or 1 of the cooks) when he refilled a buffet item. It was good & we ‘might’ go back.. but hoping maybe she’s not there.
The portions for the sides with entrées and salads were very chintzy. I got the Buffalo steak, very pricey, not cooked right, practically raw wrong, wrong dressing with my salad, husband's birthday and walleye he ordered we were told was out this was after already waiting an hour and being told our order was next up. Fake potatoes, frozen green beans. Other customers tired of waiting for refills going and refilling own drinks, getting own ice touching to go cups etc... very disappointed!! sorry I chose to take my husband her... read more
We ordered our dinner at 5.45pm. The waiter came back to our table and brought the wrong food. Then he came back and told us that the kitchen had lost our ticket at 6:20 and they were going to start our dinner now. Unacceptable. That’s a half hour after we ordered before he realized it. But I assure you that the waiter had forgotten to deliver our ticket. Not impressed. Sorry. We have coming to the Sturgis Rally for 20 some years and we ALWAYS eat here.
