Amazing secret of Ashtabula harbor. Great seafood.
We finally were able to have a date night and wanted a perfect meal , so as always , we go to our favorite place and we ordered two delicious Steak and Lobster dinners . Everything was absolutely perfect, as always, when we dine at Hilmak’s !
My husbands lobster was inedible, mine was perfect. When we brought it to the attention of our waitress she told us lobster is supposed to be rubbery... She then took it back to the kitchen and when she came back out she said they told her because its a muscle that some pieces are tender and some are tough and offered to cook it longer. They did take the cost of the lobster off but for $104 after tip we both left unsatisfied. The steak was absolutely delicious but everything else was sub par at best. Very disappointed.

Best restaurant in Ashtabula County
Food is spectacular! Seafood is so fresh! Twice baked potato is something to write home about. So delicious! Love going there for lunch and dinner. Always a great experience.
