One day maybe Farris Properties will stop being cheap and rectify the ongoing issues that this property has faced for years. It can take hours to get hot water, it can be out for days at a time. In August it was out for 5 days. They always say they are repairing, replacing, fixing, whatever. There’s no reason this can’t be fixed so residents don’t suffer.
Seen some bad reviews but I don't really get it. It's affordable, old but pretty well maintained building in downtown. If you want free, private parking with top notch ac then go ahead live at Cortland Vesta across the street paying $2500 month. Simple as that. Stop whining It's downtown As far as I'm concerned, maintenance was real quick(in 12-24 hours) and area was very safe. Freddy and Bottega closes at 11p there are people everywhere until then.
Everything is awful, paint falls off walls, ceilings fall apart, as mine has twice in the bathroom. there are thieves. many break-ins in the area. had my own vehicle broken into twice. The A.C is awful. You need buy multiple fans to stay cool in the summer. theres no sound privacy. you can hear everything everyone is doing in there own units. The provided in wall A.C is also terrible. overheats on any temp after 15 minutes. parking is awful and you can pay 50$ to park at a place you live in. Some of my appliances came dirty/... read more
only issue is security, people are walking in, obviously on something, harassing tenants and making the place uncomfortable. If this isn’t fixed hands will be put on people.
