I closed in my lanai last October. They installed 2 sets of impact sliders. The doors themselves are great, but installation was not. I have had several people out due to leaks on one door and the smaller door isn’t level. I’ve been told it needs to come out and be reset which was the end of June. Still waiting and calling but no one calls me back. I have tried to be so patient, but I feel like they are trying to get past their 1 year installation warranty. They were great initially they sent a sales person out very quickly. It’s Almost 3 weeks we still have not got a quote, very disappointed!
I would give High Wind Shutters a 10+++ if I could! The retractable screen they installed in early 2022 kept the family safe during a direct hit from Hurricane Ian, so HWS was our automatic choice when replacing the additional shutters and windows with hurricane strength this Spring. Just wanted to leave a review saying how pleased we were with High Wind Shutters. From the sales team to the manufacturers to the management, everyone was great. Oh and I can't forget the installers who did a magnificent job. Everyone very professional and stood by their word on everything!!! We now have our clinic ready for any storm that may come our way. Had hurricane shutters installed several years ago. 5 out of 5. Just had impact windows installed. Total nightmare. Broken glass all over, blood from them cutting them selves on the glass and smearing it all over my leather chair instead of telling me so I could clean it right away.. Windows extremely tight, they broke one of the windows hammering them in. I have an extremely hard time opening the windows. I dont recommend using them for windows. Shutters are great but go somewhere else for windows.
