Dr. McKenney cared for our pup throughout her life, and was there to help us give our dog a dignified passing. The entire team is a compassionate and caring group of people who put up with my changing mind all the way past the end. I can’t recommend this place enough, thank you so very much all.
Love the service during quarantine. Called them when I arrived and they came out to my car and took Dash in to see the Dr. We got a call in the car as he was being seen to discuss with Dr. and a call to receive payment and then Dash and meds were brought back to car when they were finished. I'm totally spoiled and lazy now with this service!!!!! Loved it!
We had to put our sweet kitty Princess down. They were amazing even with us bawling our eyes out. The vet gave my daughter a hug and sent a letter later in the week to make sure we were ok. I was amazed at their sympathy and kindness during everything!

I highly recommend High Plains! They have been our vet since 2010. They truly care about our pets AND us. We have been seeing Dr Alison Bizzul for a few years. She takes the time to thoroughly explain a diagnosis, a procedure, and involve us in coming up with a plan. Recently we have experienced a loss of one of our fur babies. Dr Bizzul was with us every step of the way. The entire staff has been so compassionate. It has meant so much to us knowing that our pets are treated so well while under the care of these doctors.
I take all my animals there and I have quite a few...three dogs and a cat, plus my friend takes her animals there, a dog and a cat. Jennifer McKenney is the most compassionate vet that I have found and she has just put us at ease with everything vet care! She is so good with difficult animals and takes her time to try to get them to be comfortable as possible!
Our family have been bring all our dog's here sence they opened. Not to mention my family have been breeding dogs for a collected 20 years.
