The beautiful High Country Lodge & Cabins is located in the southern Colorado Mountains. We have 10 private cabins with fireplaces, 3 hot tubs, a huge grass area with a playground and picnic tables equiped with grills. We are two miles from Pagosa Springs which is home to the worlds deepest natural Hot Spring. We are also the closest lodge west of the Wolf Creek Ski Area!

The owner was freakishly rude when I called to inquire about my reservation. When I asked for her name she said "I'm the owner!" I told her I felt that she was being rude and she said nothing. Not a good way to run an establishment. Disappointing because we stayed here 2 years ago and had a good experience. Not so much this time. I ended up canceling and booking at Fireside Inn & Cabins where there were pleasant and helpful people to talk to.
Recommendedthey are the most hospitable people I have met. would love to come back again.
We just came back from spending a week there. We will definitely make it a yearly visit. I stayed in the bunkhouse and it was wonderful. I miss it already
Wonderful place to stay.. Three sisters spent the night on our way to Utah .. We loved the cabin , breakfast was yummy and the staff very friendly and helpful. Would love to come back one day
Very friendly staff and great place to stay wish we had time to stay longer than one night.
