I only had one night here but could have easily spent more time in our private cabin in Pagosa! Room was clean and cute, free breakfast was a nice bonus. The hot tub at night under the stars was the best part, and it felt so private we barely saw anyone else during our stay! They were all very nice and helpful.

Even with cold and rainy weather at end of May, we had a pleasant stay here for 4 people. The staff was warm and friendly, very helpful with info and a warm up Baileys Irish coffee for a cold afternoon. Nice dining area for free breakfast with good food. Overall a pleasant room and area in a forest setting. Close to Pagosa Springs-and Treasure Falls. A small lake on site with a family of geese with cute goslings. Check this Lodge out any time of year. Really good service.

We will never stay here again. The walls are like paper, you can hear EVERYTHING going on in all rooms adjacent or above you. Additionally, when my wife injured her leg skiing, we had to cut our stay short by 1 day. I was informed that the cancellation policy would require me to pay for all nights of our reservation. I indicated we had not cancelled but had to reduce our stay by 1day, but to no avail. The place is noisy and the policies of the new owner are not customer friendly. We will not stay here again and anyone readin... read more

Business response:

Sorry you had a bad skiing experience but any activities outside of our lodge is beyond our control. You had a non refundable holiday reservation, We told you that if we could re-book the one day we would refund you. We also told you we could give this to you as a credit for a future stay. This was not acceptable to you. We also offered a sound machine for your room which you declined. We have tried to work with you during your stay to make it an enjoyable one but to no avail. We cannot control noisy guest and kids that are ... read more

You can do better than this place. It's on the cheaper end of the scale, but the property is in need of some serious TLC. We stayed in the main lodge which is just an old motel. The dead bolt didn't work, the decor is worn and old, the air conditioning worked poorly, the pond is unpleasant and the staff isn't particularly friendly. The cabins appeared newer, so they might be better. We looked forward to soaking in the hot tub, but the water was murky and there was crud floating in the bottom of them. The breakfast was fair a... read more
