The restaurant is operated by a 3rd generation Ellison and current pitmaster Jeff and has been serving the greatest BBQ in the Tri-State area since 1957. Our smokers use real hickory wood and our meats are cooked low & slow for that authentic barbecue flavor. Great food-Very competitive catering prices. We used them for a neighborhood dinner and everyone loved it. Another time they went out of their way, when we were under limited time constraints, to deliver a ham, again, delicious!

Wife n friend ate there tonight I had 1lb rib plate w/fries n wife and friend had the Robert E Lee n fries! I've been eating there since 1968! The best ribs in this town!! ���
At first me and my husband thought that they had the best ribs in town but then they start serving us cold ribs and the employees was always rude from the beginning but we never said anything but this last time I just had it and the sauce is horrible and the employees always look like and dressed like they just got out of bed and came to work that just look very unsanitary.
Awesome food at good prices. I will definitely be back

It was amazing. Great food, fun atmosphere, and friendly service.
Oh yeah...the babybacks are FAB! Lots of construction up and down Main St at this time so go north on Heidelbach and cut over when you get on the south end of Bosse Field. DO IT!
