Is Hickory Park having financial issues? Ordered a Reuben sandwich that looked huge until I noticed they stacked the meat in the middle to make it look like lots of meat. Skimping on meat is not up to par. The best part was dessert! We both ordered a tasty ice cream dessert. Mine came with almonds, coconut and one long HAIR! I’ve been in Ames off and on for about 3 months now. I’ve been to Hickory Park four times already and I just celebrated my bday there a couple of days ago. The place is great; staff, food, environment. Highly recommended!

Two friends and myself were there Saturday afternoon for a late lunch around 3:00. I ordered the three meat BBQ plater with sides of coleslaw and baked beans. It was all excellent, tasty moist and delicious. My friends ordered the same with 1/2 a smoked BBQ chicken with coleslaw baked beans and a side salad.
