We were visiting from Texas. The restaurant is very family oriented and the staff friendly. Being from Texas the BBQ was not to our taste but I can see the appeal for Iowans. I tried the pork tenderloin and is was good. Ice cream was delicious, lots of choices.
Stopped for lunch and really enjoyed the food and atmosphere of the restaurant.
This was a wonderful family experience☺
Love HP for their great BBQ, salads, and Dave’s Delight ice cream sundae! Love the nostalgic creative atmosphere too!! Love the General Manager too!! She is amazing to run a place like this!!
