Dr Herzog is amazing, but the office staff should have classes in professionalism, they are rude, unhelpful and seem to be bothered with any questions you may have. Dr Herzog should think about what type of person he wants representing him at that front desk, I personally work in the medical field and the Dr's I work for would actually clean house so to speak and rehire staff. They really are not professional, friendly or caring. Patients are in pain and its seems like they should be somewhat understanding

I was told my first appt would be with the PA. He ordered x-rays and mri's, Three weeks later they were scheduled. After the MRI's & X-Rays were done a f/u appointment was made to see Dr. Herzog. At the follow up visit, after waiting 40 minutes, I saw the PA again. He was in a rush and clear explanations of the damage to my spine and the impacts were not provided.

My complaint about Saratoga Spine is with how the office is run. I made the appointment with Herzog at the advice of my internist, but--as is common these days--my initial visit was with a PA, not with Herzog. The PA then recommended a six-month follow-up with Herzog himself, which I dutifully made. But the person who saw me at this second visit was also a PA, not the surgeon, and I didn't realize it (because I'd never seen Herzog before) until the PA actually referred to Herzog in the third person.
