HORRIBLE - did not give us the type of vehicle reserved. Tried to complain - could not find anyone to discuss with. Birmingham airport did not pick up the phone and hertz numbers don't take complaints.

SCAMMER/LIAR Run for this company!We bought a rentcar on Priceline for 200$ and when you arrived to the airport in New Orleans, Hertz gave us a bill for 468$ (We refused all the options except the last one for the fuel for 33$) so we ask her why there were this amount and the employee said "Don't worry you already paid 200$ you don't have anything to pay. There was a storm before my airplane leaded. And it was raining when I picked up the car. I couldn't see clearly about damage on the car. One of res told me that Because I deny those damage made by me. So company shouldn't charge me. And let me sign the Vehicle incident report for reporting purpose. But now, my insurance company got claim statement from Hertz.

The worst experience renting a car of my life!!! I booked a reservation for a family member flying in for a family emergency and paid for the car with my card on file - I am a Gold card member. They put my cousin on as the primary driver and confirmed my reservation. When he showed up they would not give him the car as he did not book it. The lady at counter was very nice but mislead about the charges and with the bad rain on today April 30 2016,I was charged too much because I was ten minutes late charged for a hour plus twice for ldw,for ten minutes wouldn't recommend this car rental,I would rather take the mega bus which I also do not like,must be a shareholder's company which only cares about how much money can they swindle.
