Everything went well. Only complaint is long wait at airport for ride to rental facility.
The taxes and fees totaled nearly $150 for a $450 rental. That's 33%!!! and absurd. I don't accept your "these are mandatory fees and taxes" excuse. Use your lawyers to lobby these blood-sucking tax and fee collectors to back off to like 1% or 2%. Or 0% for the free travel and commerce of the American people!
Due to a corporate agreement, I've been renting from Hertz BWI for over a year. I am President's Circle. My car is always parked at the back, dirty, has dents and over 40,000 miles. This location is tops for dirty tricks. They try to charge for pre-existing damage and they always try to try extra for fuel. At one point, they were checking fuel receipts for cars that were returned full of fuel. If you didn't have a receipt, you were surcharged. If you have a choice, I highly recommend renting a car elsewhere.
