how unfortunate that the people behind the counter cant acknowledge a person waiting in line to purchase a gift certificate, just completely ignored, even after asking for service, guess my kids teachers will get gift certificates from some where else this year.
RecommendedSome of the best coffee I've enjoyed in years. Too many roasters "burning the beans" lately and far too many "dark roast" coffee places. It all tastes bitterly the same... but NOT Herman's Boy. :-) Glad I found your shop when I visited Rockford recently. I also ordered some ground coffee delivered to my home in Kalamazoo. Good prices. Always been the bagels and coffee. Before I moved back here, when we visited family, we always had to go to Herman's Boy when it was in downtown Rockford. I love all the items sold, especially for outdoor cooking. I never had anything bad, and I love all who work there.

Herman’s Boy is an amazing experience. Great staff, wonderful coffee, treats and gifts. Their bagels are the best, too!
My wife and I stopped in Saturday and purchased two Eggles. One with ham and one with summer sausage. When we opened them they were both ham. No biggie, I was starving! But I mentioned to my wife that I wish the workers would smile a little. I know it was a busy morning but some just did not look happy to be there. Just an observation.
