I have had great results following knee replacement surgery on both knees. My knees were severely bowed and I was unable to take the minimally invasive route for surgery. Even with the more complete surgery, I was walking unassisted around the house 3 days after surgery. My second knee replacement was my right one and with the experience gained from my left knee surgery last year, rehab has gone even better. Dr. Herman Botero, was a Godsend to me. He was thorough in his questions at my first appointment. Dr. Botero put my anxiety aside. I had originally planned to have the traditional TKR surgery but was introduced to someone who had recently been his patient and after speaking with her, I was convinced that Dr. Botero was the answer to a surgery that was long overdue. I was a little apprehensive to go forward with a total knee replacement. Put it off until I had no choice. Researched and decided on Dr Botereo and I'll tell you.... I made the right choice. I'm 7 week out of surgery and I'm walking better already than I have in the past 10 years. My pain is gone. I'm still working in flexibility but it's coming. I'm very happy with Dr Botereo, his staff, the daily text messages I get for encouragement and exercise suggestions. I made a good choice.
Dr Botero did a great job on my knee. The Therapists said they had never seen one with so little bruising. I could bend to about 125 degrees within 3 weeks. The texts every day are helpful and encouraging. I do not believe I could have expected a better experience for a partial knee replacement. Thank you and your team. Thank you KOC.
The daily texts were very beneficial on my road to recovery! Dr. Botero was very supportive and helpful after the surgery. Thanks to the surgical team and therapist that helped me meet my goals.
