Unbelievable food and atmosphere! Great menu based on local and organic foods cooked to perfection! Give it a try, you won't be disappointed!
We've been to The Herd Restaurant several times and had a wonderful experience each time! It's an oasis nestled in a corner accessible from Main St or the movie theater parking lot. I was worried when they recently changed their menu items but the new ones are great, too! Whether you want appetizers and drinks or a full meal and dessert this is the place! Special occasion? I went as part of a group. Good food, a really nice steak in fact, but a bit pricey for the value received.

Great dishes.... the oyster pomegranate sauce was amazing as well as the asparagus and carrot slaw as side dishes to a great steak. Dining room a bit bright....but superb service. Highly recommend!
Ate at Herd Restaurant Friday evening and the food was absolutely wonderful. Oyster pomegranate app special was so delicious. Have never had oysters with a flavor like that. The salmon was melt in your mouth. Service was excellent. Dining room is a little bright but even loved the China and cutlery. Owner John was very engaging and wide open to feedback. Will definitely go back. Nicely done Herd...
