Great food and atmosphere! Ben is a fantastic waiter!! 🎉
We had a marvelous dinner there last night. Cocktails were ample and well crafted. Apps included outrageous fried oysters, spicy calamari. The calamari had lovely spicy kick. Entries were perfectly cooked filet and the spicy pork shank. Ample size and delicious. Scallops were also amazing. The decor is casual, clean, masculine...comfortable and suave. The service impeccable. Owners are so friendly, made us feel like guests in their home. We will be back!
Excellent service. Very good food. Awesome Caesar Salad. Homemade dressing fresh romaine. Very good filet mignon served with mashed potatos and asparagus slaw. Homemade desserts including ice cream. Need a better varery of white by the glass. Did have Chateau St. Michelle. Will go back.
We cannot wait to go back!!! Finally a restaurant that gets it right in every area. Drinks were perfectly mixed and generous. Apps were creative and delicious. (Pork belly you have to eat to believe!!!) I indulged in the beef Wellington that was honestly better than the signature dish I had at Gordon Ramsey's restaurant in Las Vegas. The food was amazing! The presentation, preparation and distinct combination of herbs and flavor incorporated into each appetizer (crostini w goat cheese and bacon) and entree (baked filet of sole w rice pilaf) had me screaming more please. The finishing touch was tiramisu with fresh blueberries as a garnish! I will most definitely be one of the Herd at Herd! Thank you chef and thank you David Shapiro and company!
We tried Herd during Middlesex county restaurant week. We had a 3 course meal for $20.17. Highly recommend the pear and bacon crustini, pork shank (meat fell right off the bone and tiramisu. We will definitely go back.
Went to night for Resturant Week 2017 in Middletown -What a great place clean great wait staff. The food was great will be one of my go to places. Oh what a great time to go. $20.17 Price fix menu -Appetizer -Entree-Dessert
