Had another great meal at Herd last night. This was our 4th time to dine here and well worth the trip up from the shoreline. The bar gets a fun crowd and is just as comfortable to eat at as the dining room. Last night I had the flat iron steak which was cooked to perfection. The last time we were lucky enough to get the last 2 beef Wellingtons, a special that night, honestly the best I've ever had. If you are in the Middletown area, this place is a must try!
Great food, great service, and a great time. I have been there for paint night(great time), dinner, and just drinks and every time is better than the last. The chef is amazing creating dishes that are going to wow you. Take a chance you will not regret it.
The calamari was not crispy, crunchy. So as a whole average. The eggplant sandwich was just OK. I would like for the eggplant not to be so "leathery" when eating that sandwich. Overall it's OK.
