I had the same situation happen to me just a little different. I had the similar type of situation. I went through 5 cars by the time I sent my car back.I was told I didn't need a co-signer and all of a sudden when I arrive I would need one.Highly over priced 4 times value of the car I couldn't get ANY bank to take the loan.
