Treat someone else`s loved ones like you would want yours to be treated ,regardless of health, issues and age. Because some of your patients are elderly do not treat them like they should not receive the best care possible. Patients pay your salary ,remember that.
Avoid this place like your life depends on it. The ER department belongs to people they claim are nurses and physician's assistants but they act like they should be working in a prison caring for serial killers and it's their job to keep you from the doctors and to punish you for even being there. Don't expect them to be at all honest to you and don't expect them to do anything they promise. You can expect to be abused and abandoned in the worst way possible.
