Not What I Expected – I have been seeing Dr. Ingram at H&W for several years, and have never had any issues until this latest visit. I am usually seen by the doc & walking to my car within 1.5 hours, but this time spent longer than that sitting in the waiting room. Unacceptable doctors – I am new to Birmingham and asked friends for the name of a doctor for my yearly check-up. Dr. Cynthia Lassiter was recommended. I went for the visit and waited 1 hour and 55 minutes for her to see me. She did a complete physical and was out of the room in less than 3 minutes! I timed it. She did apologize, stating that she had a baby to deliver. Unacceptable Wait time – I have been a patient here for over 5 yrs and generally loved it. But my last visit in 2008 was horrible. The wait was unacceptable. I was in the room waiting for the Doctor for over 1hr. Mind you she was not on call. In addition, she did not apologize for the wait. Note that this was in addition to the long wait in the waiting room.
