Great surroundings, great service, great wines and great meal. Everything was above expectations and we enjoyed every minute.
Wow. That was nice. Food excellent. Service spot on.
Wonderful welcoming service. Excellent wine list and the food is truly memorable, especially the Parker House Rolls. The present menu is a little heavy on rabbit, which doesn’t appeal to me. However, I was able to “make do” and had a lovely meal at Hen In The Wood. I was a walk-in at 5PM and was lucky. Make reservations in advance.

The Hen of the Wood is possibly the best restaurant in Vermont. Ever bite is fantastic made from the finest ingredients.
