Food excellent, staff went above and beyond, left a little note about our anniversary and it seemed the entire staff new... Great job definately will return
Truly one of my favourite dining establishments. The atmosphere is classic, the wait staff very friendly and knowledgeable. The food is full of flavour with every bite. I never feel rushed to eat and run. The one place I can savour every bite.
What a impeccable culinary experience! Wish I lived close by..Whenever I'm in Vermont again I surely will make it a priority to dine there again.

My wife and I enjoyed our 5th wedding anniversary dinner at Hen Of The Wood in Waterbury. (They even hand wrote a nice card for us when we arrived.) Great setting, nice ambience, and the food was superb. If it wasn't so expensive, we would definitely eat there more often. But it's been said they are one of the finest restaurants in the world. And after our dinner there, I will not disagree.
